This role is open to candidates based out of Nashville or Seattle.

Rural Super Rural (RSR) is an emerging organization that executes delivery of small parcel and heavy/bulky packages in rural communities across North America. We merge multiple service types to enhance the customer experience in communities which we don't currently service including scheduled delivery of bulky freight and customer facing services to accept customer returns.

This position will work across multiple business and technical teams across the company. You will work with a team of program and field leadership to support Last Mile Delivery for Delivery Stations, Super Rural sites, and Hub Partners. You will lead projects and initiatives to improve Last Mile experience and operations for DSP and Flex partners.

As the Program Manager (PM), you'll work with various stakeholders to drive results for multiple projects and planning goals. The PM will drive Last Mile goals, working with stakeholder teams to improve driver experience and execution within the network. The PM is the driving force to the success of the program and connect the dots between multiple organizations and teams to ensure a cohesive strategy to drive RSR to stability. You will create content and speak to leadership on weekly, monthly, and yearly level business reviews in regards to Last Mile goals. The overall success of the program relies on you and your results are translated directly and tangibly back to our customers!

Key job responsibilities
  • Influence design and development of strategic processes for Last Mile.
  • Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and govern key performance indicators (KPI) reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects
  • Establish and continually improve the consistency, predictability, and efficiency of the organization’s delivery capability and capacities
  • Work cross-functionally across teams to effect network-level performance improvement with our internal and external partners by designing and implementing systems, metrics and programs that maximize compliance and performance.
  • Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve Last Mile parity
  • Travel domestically up to 25%.

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
