Job Details
-

Monitor and manage the screening and occupancy function for the selection of eligible and qualified applicants for the public housing program and for the HCV Program.
  • Review inquiries that are above the Supervisor level
  • Develop systems and recommend alterations to ensure compliance with the federal regulations and agencies policies and goals.
  • Submit recommendations to the Director that is supported by rules and regulations which govern the program
  • Creates and recommends revisions to policies and standard operating procedures to facilitate achievement of goals.
  • Assist with the development and management of the department budget.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly statistical reports that track the departments and staff functions and performance.
  • Analyzes the information from the statistical reports and reports to the Director of the Department any relevant trends that are affecting the program.
  • Actively seek and foster new relationships to support the Housing Choice Voucher Program objectives.
  • Coordinate and promote effective internal relationships as well as external relationships with community-based service and housing providers, consumers, and general public.
  • Prepare and present monthly Board Report at the Operations Committee meeting
  • Acts for the Director of the HCV & Occupancy in her/his absence.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Manage HCV and public housing filing system
  • Download and analyze 50058 error report
