Deputy Program Manager for the Typhon Program within the Next Gen Solution portfolio will be responsible for assisting in the execution and new business of the Army program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Coordination of various program deliverables within the profile
  • Execution of new business activities including proposals via Alpha Contracting
  • Working with a cross functional team across multiple LM sites
  • Reporting program status to senior internal LM leadership, as well as external customer
  • Evaluating and approving design changes, specification, and document releases
  • Coordinating activities associated with production, technical impacts, schedule, and engineering design/documentation
The Deputy Program Manager will work closely with the Program Manager and be a key contributor in the execution and success of the Typhon portfolio. The individual will execute multiple simultaneous projects to ensure contract deliverable are achieved.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of scheduling for Contract deliverables
  • Familiarity with Risk & Opportunity Management process
  • Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
Desired Skills:
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate / manage multiple efforts simultaneously
  • Cross functional team management
Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with managing TIPs, CDRLs and leading IPTs
  • Strong interpersonal communication and formal presentation skills, including the ability to interface at all levels and with multiple departments both locally and virtually
Experience successfully setting up and managing program measurement baselines in an dynamic program funding and execution environment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
