Description:AAFS is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking and technologically adept candidate to lead support service task orders programs. The role will report to the Support Service Contracts (SSC) Manager. The Program Manager, Army Support Services Task Orders is responsible for the cost, schedule, technical and quality execution of between two to 10 task orders, each representing a program under the SSC. Primary duties include customer interface, customer service and support, and overall customer satisfaction for PEO(A), UHPO, AMCOM and Army leadership. This further entails risk and change management, team leadership, and communications and interface with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires program management of a large matrixed team with diverse cross-functional organizations, including directing the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas. Additional responsibilities include oversight of progress against program milestones; monitoring adherence to master plans, schedules, and budgets; and identification and resolution of program issues such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

The PM will provide oversight of total capture strategy and shaping for future task orders. This will require ongoing collaboration with Business Development and the Army Business Office, active management of New Business Funds, and estimating Programs support of future Task Orders.

The role may include additional support of the BLACK HAWK production program as requirements emerge.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with personnel / customers ranging from inexperienced employees thorough General or Executive Leadership level.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 4 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
Experienced in Earned Value Management.

  • Demonstrated experience with program management and scheduling tools and processes including Earned Value Management.
  • Strong business acumen and an understanding of how programs support overall business strategy.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
