Black Diamond Paving is hiring a Project Consultant/Sales in Hayward, CA.

The Project Consultant/Sales is responsible for prospecting, selling directly to our customers, and managing incoming projects as well as working closely with our Operations Team to ensure superior project outcomes. The ideal candidate for the Project Consultant job has high energy, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make sound, profitable decisions.

Black Diamond Paving & Concrete provides pavement maintenance services for commercial, industrial, retail and multi-family residential markets. Black Diamond Paving has been in business for over 25 years, with its headquarters office located in Northern California and a second office located in Escondido.

• Ability to oversee multiple jobs and interact with numerous customers simultaneously
• Top-notch sales skills – including the ability to find new customers and close sales
• Strong business writing skills for developing proposals
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills (we use Word, Excel, a CRM, CorelDraw, Google Earth).
• Reasonable math skills and the ability to work with simple formulas for estimating
• Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet
• Paving industry knowledge a plus (but not required).
