Project Manager - Land Development
Based out of Phoenix, AZ, we are a civil engineering firm that specializes in land surveying and subsurface utility. We focus on providing a high level of quality service at work, but also maintaining a healthy and active life outside of it. Currently looking to hire a project manager with a background in land development.
If you are a Project Manager with 3+ years of Land Development experience, please read on!
As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and managing the projects that come along with them. You will oversee multiple projects and direct both the project engineers and designers involved until completion, all while maintaining outstanding client care. Other responsibilities include:
- Ensuring successful project delivery and completion
- Conduct normal project management functions including reporting and client invoice approval
- Project future workloads, staffing assignments, and project budgets
- Guide, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and designers
- Analyze and interpret public agencies regulations and procedures
- Coordinate with staff, consultants, clients, agencies, and other team members
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Accredited school
- 3 years of site development project experience
- Ability and willingness to get PE license
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, CUHP, and/or SWMM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and remain organized
NICE TO HAVE:
- PE License
- Strong knowledge on all major technical aspects of Land Development engineering
- Efficiency with Microsoft Project
- Proven record in project delivery and consultative work
