Senior Project Manager - Operations
Impact:
As our Sr. Project Manager in our Operations department, you will have the opportunity to organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization’s research, development, and project implementation efforts. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Daily Tasks:
- Lead an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and in the most cost-effective method.
- Outline tasks involved in the project and delegate accordingly.
- Conduct cost analysis and estimate expected costs for the project.
- Prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
- Conduct risk assessments; report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
- Delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
- Total ownership of assigned projects from commencement to completion including addressing questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Act as a liaison between senior leadership, mid-level management, and overall staff.
- Communicate and collaborate with teams firmwide to provide training and information required to roll out new policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.
Your Skills:
- At least seven years in a Project Manager role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory, leadership and teamwork related skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
- Proven track record managing multiple projects and meeting various deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including Microsoft Project.
- Solid relationship building skills.
- PMP Certification a plus.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
