Job Description

Overview:

You take care of patients.
We’ll take care of everything else.
Including you.

You’ve spent years learning and training to provide outstanding care for your patients. That’s why our model lets you focus on taking care of them. Our physicians have wrap-around practice and administrative support to do many of the things that aren’t clinical, from answering emails to providing follow-up instructions, to helping secure social services for your patients.

We take care of you, too, with exceptional compensation packages, market-leading retirement contributions, gold-star health benefits, generous PTO, sabbatical opportunities, continuing medical education time and allowance, and leadership development through our in-house Northwest Permanente University.

Position Overview:
Northwest Permanente, P.C. is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join or growing medical group as an Interventional/ Procedural Psychiatrist.

We have a long-established, interventional psychiatry program providing a full range of techniques including Spravato (intranasal ketamine), Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), and VNS (Vagal Nerve Stimulation). We currently provide upwards of 14,000 procedures and interventional consultations per year. If you are not currently trained and practicing in these areas, we are also open to offering training for you and have an established training program.

You will work onsite as part of a 7-physician team, 4-5 days per week. You will work at one of the Kaiser Permanente procedural sites (Mt. Scott Medical Office in Clackamas, OR and/or Cascade Park Medical office in Vancouver, WA). You will need to demonstrate both flexibility and adaptability as we continue to evolve our care model to meet our patient’s needs. It is preferred that you have experience with digital technologies (Telehealth, and digital health) as some of your work may be done virtually for procedural consultation and follow-up.

Working for Northwest Permanente, our Interventional/ Procedural Psychiatrists enjoy:

$337,000 - $411,000 – Projected Annual Total Rewards Value*

  • Salary: $269,000 to $306,700 (1.00 FTE)
  • 21% employer contribution to retirement programs, including pension (This is not a match; NWP contributes an additional 21% of clinician earnings to retirement programs regardless of employee contribution)
  • 90%+ employer paid health plan
  • Paid annual education leave + $2K annual education allowance

In addition to Projected Annual Total Rewards value, New Hire Incentives include:

  • Student loan assistance programs - up to $125K
  • Generous sign-on bonus - up to $50K

Other Exceptional Benefits:
  • Leadership opportunities
  • Shareholder opportunities
  • Paid sabbatical after attaining shareholder status
  • Projected annual total rewards value may be adjusted for FTE, experience, geography, and qualifications are subject to plan participation requirements. Speak to our physician recruiter for full details.
