JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: QA Specialist II
Location: Des Plaines, IL.
Duration: 06 months (with possible extension)
Shift 1st- 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM

Position Summary:

• Assures the quality of manufactured products and processes per standard operating processes (SOP) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Education & experience:

• BS degree or 3-7 years equivalent experience

General duties:
1. Performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing according to documented policies and procedures and records them as prescribed.
2. Assists engineering in providing manufacturing support by reviewing and analyzing data to determine manufacturing issues and trends. Assist engineering with incoming tools and equipment qualification activities.
3. Review and dispositions of non-conforming material by utilizing tools and developing knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures.
4. Documents non-conformances in Non-Conforming Material Review System and lead investigations.
5. Operates all associated test and measurement equipment as instructed and as documented in procedures.
6. Completes and prioritizes work activities independently
7. Provides technical input to complex projects
8. Participates in cross-functional teams
9. Demonstrates strong knowledge of all technical processes and Quality System
