This position qualifies for a sign on Bonus of $30,000 for external candidates.
Position will provide subject matter expertise for Quality Engineering in support of ADP operations. The candidate will be responsible to deploy standard and advanced Quality Engineering methods and tools.
- Selected candidate will utilize statistical methods and preventive action methods to evaluate and initiate actions to identify and control sources of variation detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets.
- Conduct/coordinate process and product evaluations and assessments and validate key process capabilities.
- Responsible for root cause, corrective and preventive action investigations/ decisions/ validations.
- Selected candidate will provide local customer interface. Selected candidate will deliver effective methods and initiate improvements that will drive and improve overall quality performance reducing area defects and Scrap, Rework, Repair cost.
- Collaborate with various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement.
Coach and guide Quality Engineer Team in all aspects of quality support on special access program
- Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in STEM related studies.
- Experience in Manufacturing/Assembly aircraft
- Experience in advanced composite manufacturing
- Applied knowledge of QMS industry standard practices/tools to include: DMAIC, FAI, Process mapping, gage R&R, variation analysis, Process capability, engineering reviews, planning reviews, root cause analysis and corrective action
- Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering specifications and drawing, and technical planning documents.
Desired Skills:
- Understanding and use of new manufacturing systems (iBASEt, ERP4C, SFB, QADS, SAP etc)
- Fluent in applying corrective action with a solution oriented approach
- Experience interfacing with Defense oversight customers like Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Quality Assurance representatives or DoD equivalents.
- Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation skills.
- Models and supports organization's goals and vision; adapts to changing conditions; demonstrates persistence and ability to overcome obstacles, solution oriented in a collaborative environment
- Experienced and proficient in AS9100D.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with an investigation within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $123,500 - $232,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
