The Operational Safety Lead is responsible for supporting the Operational Safety Management Lead with further development & oversight of the Fleet Test Ops safety management program. Description

Together with the Operational Safety Management Lead, you will lead the Fleet Test Ops safety management program and be the primary safety interface to the Fleet Test Operations teams within Apple. As a key stakeholder of the program, either through direct involvement and/or influence, you will ensure successful safety operations and day to day monitoring and oversight of operational safety performance of Fleet Test Operations. •Oversee the Operational Safety Program to include: incident/emergency response plans, incident investigation, root cause analysis and safety risk mitigation plans, operational safety policy handbook, video monitoring of operational performance, quality assurance of safety processes and check ride program, safety reporting program and general safety promotion throughout the operational teams. •Ensure day to day operations comply with Apple operational and safety guidelines and cultivate a Culture of Safety within the Fleet Test Operation. When necessary, work with the appropriate teams to create new guidelines and safety policy and procedure. •Provide solid documentation of safety policy and procedure and safety metrics that allows Safety performance and quality to be tracked over time. •Maintain up to date safety risk mitigation and safety action tracker database for operational safety mitigation actions. •Develop creative solutions to allow for safe, secure and discrete development operations. •Provide periodic safety performance and strategy updates to senior leadership. •Look to solve problems rather than report on them.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,000 and $269,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
