Job Description

Our company is expanding, and we're currently seeking a skilled and personable receptionist to manage our busy front desk. In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of important administrative and clerical tasks that keep our office running smoothly. You'll be the first point of contact for our firm, greeting clients and guests as they arrive and ensuring that their needs are met. You'll also help coordinate front-desk activities, such as scheduling appointments and managing deliveries. Your communication skills will be crucial, as you'll be responsible for answering phones, directing calls, and distributing correspondence to the appropriate departments. Essential Job Functions

  • Greet and welcome guests when they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone or email.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
  • Order office supplies and keep an inventory of stock.
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings.
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties as needed, including filing, photocopying, and transcribing.

Education and Experience

  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Prior experience in a law firm is a plus.
  • Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with standard office equipment.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Customer service attitude.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is $33,280 per year.
  • Excellent benefits package, including paid holidays, vacation, and sick time. The firm pays 100% of employee health, vision, dental, and short-term and long-term disability insurance.
  • The firm offers a bonus opportunity at the end of each calendar year.

Working Conditions

Hours of Work

Usual work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a thirty-minute lunch

Overtime Expectations

Overtime work may be required from time to time.
