RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the ACT multidisciplinary team is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments, assessing physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist; providing a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services; shares shift-management responsibilities with other staff; provides direct case management services to individuals; conducts medication education and performs necessary documentation; assists individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills; delivers medication to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotating basis. Participates in on-call rotation.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
M1: Completion of educational requirements for Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in VA
M2: Valid drivers’ license and safe driving record
Preferred Requirements
P1: Experience working with seriously mentally ill individuals
P2: Experience with crisis intervention
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
HOURLY RATE RANGE
$27.79 - $42.97 (less than full-time)
$1.25/hour ACT Program Differential
