Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates, P.C. is the largest private Rheumatology practice in the United States. The practice has over 51 providers, 11 sites and over 250 employees providing assessment and treatments for rheumatological, podiatric, and electromyography patients. Our providers work together to keep patients healthy, and are recognized for excellence in medicine and for being pioneers in new treatments, ably supported by our Research department.

We are a seeking an ambitious, friendly, positive, and compassionate Infusion RN - PRN to join our Infusion Team in the West Valley.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that all patient care plans have the documentation necessary to provide quality care and to adhere to all billing/coding standards.
  • Responsible for charting and recording infusion vitals/administration
  • Responsible for mixture and administration of all medications
  • Must maintain and monitor drug inventory along with medical supply stock
  • Start/Discontinue IV for infusion therapies
  • Maintain sterile environment at all times
  • Report to Director of Infusion to meet all goals, deadlines, and expectations
  • Communicate with Infusion Coordination Team in relation to patient scheduling concerns
  • Must be willing to travel to any of our West Valley locations to provide coverage
  • On call as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • IV experience required
  • Rheumatology or Oncology experience a plus
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
