Outpatient Surgery Center, Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)


Come join our Perioperative Services team in its new, state-of-the-art, 230,000 sq. ft. Outpatient Pavilion, in Arlington, VA! This new site-of-care (as seen below) is scheduled to open July 2023 and will host 6 ORs, 6 GI Rooms and 3 Procedural Rooms. As our campus expands, now is the time to get your foot in the door and grow with VHC Health! The OR Nurse provides care for all ages and variety of surgical specialties from general, gynecological surgeries, ENT and ophthalmology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, plastics, and vascular surgery.

Qualifications:
  • RN Licensure with Reciprocity in the state of Virginia
  • BLS for the Healthcare Provider CPR
  • Minimum 1 year acute care/hospital experience
Responsibilities:
  • Actively participates in working towards the organizational and departmental goals for providing exceptional patient experiences.
  • Collaborates with patient and healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and/or evaluate patient's plan of care.
  • Assures quality of care by adhering to industry standards and measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and benchmarks.
  • Consistently assesses, identifies and addresses patient's educational needs and barriers to learning.
  • Maintains safe working environment and patient safety by complying with hospital policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and technical skills to perform all duties required to care for patients.
