Job Title: Remediation Specialist

Location: Fully Remote

Position Description:

This person will be responsible for providing data entry support, research, and remediation of customer account data. Individual will execute routine data review, entry, data deletion tasks by collecting, reviewing, and amending pre-determined data points from online and mobile platforms. Role will operate under direct supervision with narrow independence of action. For this specific project, individual review documents to determine accounts needing remediation and address by researching internal system(s) and/or customer outreach. Individual will be responsible for reviewing information to ensure accuracy and BSA compliance in all documentation and data that is needed to remediate accounts. Data collection could include phone and e-mail communication with Bank customers to solve remediation.

Position Accountabilities

  • Collect pre-determined data points from supervisor.
  • Translate data into accurate account remediation in online and/or mobile platform.
  • Collection of data points via research or customer outreach for entry and or reconciliation on platforms.
  • Be responsible for accuracy and clarity of final results
  • Operate computer and online systems
  • Assist project team to ensure meeting of deadlines
  • Customer outreach for data collection

Organizational Relationship

This position reports to the assigned department manager.

Position Qualifications

  • Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years’ experience in related fields

Knowledge & Skills:

  • High degree of professionalism
  • Proficient computer skills relevant to Microsoft Office Suites, with strong technical aptitude
  • Proficient in excel
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Flexible, able to adapt to change
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • total: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Horizon Banking Technology knowledge/: 1 year (Preferred)
