Position Summary
Apply knowledge of business and technology to allow for the development of integrated solutions to resolve technical and business issues. Serve as a liaison between internal customers and IT departments during the all phases of development efforts for various business initiatives. Apply structured methodology in the creation of requirements from the business perspective, translated in to easily understood formats that are acted upon by the SAP technical design and development teams in IT.
Responsibilities
Work is typically performed under minimal daily supervision, receiving guidance from manager/supervisor about the work that needs to be completed. Able to exercise high level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks.
§ Work directly with business leaders and SMEs in the analysis and design of new business processes and requirements definitions
§ Lead efforts to implement multiple MM projects to include, inventory management and material valuation
§ Apply functional and technical knowledge for troubleshooting issues to determine whether process, development or configuration changes are needed
§ Perform SAP configuration changes as part of the change management process.
§ Act as primary MM support and FICO backup
§ Facilitate the translation of business requirements into functional system design and technical specifications
§ Lead full cycle testing of end-to-end processes
§ Provide support in ticket backlog, prioritizing issues and working them to resolution
§ Help implement SAP improvement projects as required
§ Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
