Victory Millwork in Lynden, WA is hiring immediately for a Millwork Machine Operator (Day Shift).

We are immediately hiring for entry-level Day Shift Team Members to work Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:45pm with any needed overtime. ROLE: The primary responsibility of a Millwork Machine Operator is to safely and accurately produce wood components and products by operating and maintaining machinery.

HOURS: Day Shift (7am-3:45pm)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain quality and safety standards.
• Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Go deep in problem-solving, always seek to learn more about your space to develop expertise.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.

CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Wood products manufacturing experience preferred
• Manufacturing experience desired
• Natural curiosity and desire to gain knowledge of door construction and tolerances.
• Self-motivated problem solver who is appreciates a fast-paced environment.
• Knows how to manage work flow effectively to meet manufacturing order due dates.
• Maintains a clean and organized area and provides quality control for finished products.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure and digital calipers for taking measurements (training provided)
• Commitment to being a reliable and consistent team member.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• $18.75 to $20.45/hour wage range depending on experience
