Responsibilities:
Every single day as a Senior Financial Analyst is different! On any one day you might:
Prepare forecasts, annual operating plans and five-year plans for the departments supported such as Planning and Strategy, Brand Management (and others).
Prepare dynamic messages for different audiences including corporate management and other high-level executives.
Engage in ad-hoc financial analysis, including special projects at the request of supported clients groups as well as other key leaders.
Monitor operating performance.
Interact with extraordinary partners to whom we are dedicated.
Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Showcase your leadership and confidence on a large team.
Preparation of forecasts, annual operating plans and five-year plans for the segments supported.
Ad hoc analytics as requested by the department stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of prior work experience
Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
Developed effective business and financial acumen
A highly professional "client service orientation"
Experience as a reciprocal teammate who possesses social and organizational abilities
Excellent communication skills in both oral and written settings
The flexibility to work with different personalities
Produce detailed work without data errors
Sharp presentation and storytelling skills, and the ability to exercise critical thinking and problem solving
A versatile "special-projects" orientation coupled with confirmed multi-tasking abilities
An inherent curiosity driving to ask the right questions
Experience working in Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in the media and entertainment industry is a plus, but is not required
Experience developing presentations on a company’s financial performance
Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, SAP, Cognos
Required Education:
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
The hiring range for this position in California is $101,790.00 to $124,410.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
