Position Description:
THIS POSITION WILL BE ON A ROTATING SHIFT
Our Senior Field Specialist performs leak surveys with the assistance of employees and/or contractors on transmission and distribution pipelines to ensure compliance and/or identify noncompliance with company and governmental standards. The Senior Field Specialist drives a Mobile Leak Survey truck around the assigned geographical region and works with local teams to discover and classify leaks.
They will guide and supervise employees and contractors while working in the field. They will also provide information, advice, and/or assistance to employees, contractors, landowners, public/governmental officials, and others relative to maintenance standards, policies, and procedures applicable to work in progress.
Organizes, and plans annual work. Coordinates several weeks work schedule plans with area management and makes adjustments as necessary.
Daily commute to area locations with potential of 30% overnight travel.
Valid Driver’s License
One Call System policies and procedures.
Experience reading and interpreting maps, atlas pages, blueprints, budget information, and job orders.
Thorough knowledge of applicable federal, state, and/or industry standards and regulations regarding pipeline construction and safety.
Clear understanding of leak grade severity and calculating classifying severity of gas leaks.
Experience or knowledge of performing leakage surveys.
