Salary Range: $121,056.00 (Min.) - $160,400.00 (Mid.) - $199,742.00 (Max.)

Job Summary

The Information Technology (IT) Business Relationship Manager II has the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface with an assigned functional area for the purpose of business technology strategy development, work intake management and relationship management. This position serves as the business relationship link between business units and IT at senior leadership level. This position provides highly valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives. This position communicates decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives. This position proactively shares knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units. This position partners with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (e.g. return on investment, productivity, compliance). The Business Relationship Manager provides support in delivering technology products that meet the needs of the business.

Duties

Responsible for one assigned functional area to development and implement solution roadmaps and to ensure successful introductions across the assigned functional area and with internal customers.

Develop business cases for new investments and initiatives for the assigned functional area.

Proactively anticipate gaps and overlaps within the portfolio and attends to them.

Act as the key link across all sub-departments within the assigned functional area and the information technology department.

Create and analyze relevant information and develop recommendations that get presented to senior management.

Create shared vision of their respective solutions and facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platforms.

Oversee the launch of solutions and help to maximize the positive impact to the assigned functional area.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

Required:
Minimum 6-8 years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments with at least 3 years of experience working with senior level IT management, business units and corporate staff leaders to develop a departmental strategy that is integrated with IT.

Experienced in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale IT projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.

Demonstrated success managing programs with multiple, large scale, diverse and complex projects executing simultaneously.

Ability to work well independently or leading a project team/efforts with limited supervision; strong cross-functional collaboration.

Ability to manage priorities across multiple teams/projects, platforms and maintain program controls.

Strong knowledge of program management processes facilitating the creation of standard program documents and artifacts supporting program tracking & deliverables.

Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Strong facilitation and mentoring skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to interact with various IT and business departments /project teams.

Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills; is dependable, enthusiastic, self-starting and self-motivated. Uses time effectively, reacts professionally under pressure.
