Required Qualifications:
- PhD in computer science, or a related field
- or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed CS conferences/journals, including at least one publication in ASPLOS, EuroSys, FAST, HPCA, ISCA, MICRO, NSDI, OSDI, PLDI, POPL, S&P, SIGCOMM, SIGMETRICS, SIGMOD, SOSP, USENIX ATC, USENIX Security, or VLDB.
- Interests in applying machine learning techniques to improve the correctness and efficiency of software systems
- Interests in improving the correctness and efficiency of systems that contain machine learning modules
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment
- Demonstrated leadership potential in research

Research Sciences IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
