Job Description


The Role:
The Programmatic Media Lead will head our Programmatic capability in the COE to deliver and support on our global addressable objectives including: solutions, commercials, product, talent, operational excellence, and community and thought
leadership.


The Programmatic Media Lead will work with multiple markets to define, enhance, and commercialize our programmatic solutions and offerings and will develop our cross-channel strategy in close partnership with the other capability leaders on
Social, Search, Commerce and Affiliates.


The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in programmatic media, with a deep understanding of the various technology platforms and the evolving programmatic landscape, and a proven ability to identify and leverage programmatic
opportunities to maximize revenue and performance.


Key Accountability:

  • Lead and shape our Programmatic capability in a fast-paced developing industry. By truly understanding the industry landscape and developments, and our evolving client needs, you will define leading innovative Programmatic solutions enabled by technology and enriched by talent to help our clients and our business grow.
  • Commercialization and Revenue Growth:
    • Identify, develop, and commercialize new programmatic offerings. Drive revenue growth by improving existing offerings, exploring untapped opportunities, and leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Market Collaboration:
    • Work closely with multiple markets to understand their unique challenges and opportunities. Use these insights to customize our programmatic offerings and ensure their successful implementation.
  • Solutions:
    • Partner with our head of COEs to shape our capabilities into client-centric solutions by integrating and packaging our Programmatic capability.
    • Represents our Programmatic capability in key pitches and across key clients.
    • Help scale our Programmatic media product internationally, outside the US.
  • Product: Inform our integrated product team with the required tools and products to deliver best-in-class Programmatic services. Takes a leading role in the assessment and consultancy on suitable Programmatic platforms & partnerships.
  • Operational excellence: Defines what good looks like by partnering with our Operations Director on the representation of Programmatic in campaign processes to deliver quality assurance and playbooks.
  • Talent: Leads the translation of the Programmatic capability to our wider Performance Talent Framework including required capabilities, training and certification of Programmatic roles by level. Supports our talent recruitment and retention of Programmatic talent.
  • Community & thought leadership: You are our Programmatic thought leader who will represent our Programmatic capability and facilitate information and resource sharing (case studies, interesting articles) in our teams and in the Global Performance Media Community.

  • Market scale/adoption of our selected Programmatic Solutions
  • Deliver on the commercial targets in collaboration with local Programmatic media leads
  • Improve conversion in new business pitches and ensure great feedback on our Programmatic media story
  • Improve our Programmatic Media story on key accounts while working with the client leads

Qualifications


The Criteria

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the digital media industry, with a focus on programmatic advertising.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role is required, with demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams
  • and initiatives in a matrixed organization.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth through the development and commercialization of new offerings.
  • Strong business sense and industry knowledge.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and
  • persuasively across various levels of the organization.
  • Global Experience: Experience working in or managing global initiatives, with an understanding of cultural nuances
  • and market-specific challenges.
  • Excellent collaborator; likes and is successful in working in a matrixed organization and together with leadership
  • Excellent communicator; is able and confident to represent our Programmatic capability to internal (Performance Media
  • Community, client presidents, global new business teams)- and external stakeholders (clients, media partnerships)

Preferred Qualifications

  • An advanced degree such as a Master's degree or MBA.
  • Proven track record on thought leadership; participated in panels, published articles etc

Compensation Range: $143,000-$240,500. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
