Job Description

Rotech Pumps is a pump design and manufacturing company looking to expand our warehouse team. Our company is a fast growing, industrial pump manufacturer located globally, our company is focused on providing the highest quality customer experience.

We are looking to add a Shipper / Receiver who embodies this spirit to our growing team.

Responsibilities of Position

  • Load/Unload incoming and outgoing orders
  • Process all required paperwork
  • Maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking
  • Match product with shipping or PO documentation
  • Record shortages and reject damaged goods
  • Pack goods to be shipped
  • Create wooden boxes, load skids and pallets
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
  • Attach identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
  • Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies as required
  • Audit inbound and outbound goods in order to ensure their quality
  • Maintain a safe, organized working environment
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Pick up materials from vendors as and when required, G License preferred

Qualification

  • Able to use power tools to create wooden skid boxes and pack
  • Ability to use light power tools for packing and unloading
  • Fork lift certification counter balance
  • Computer Literate, MS Office word, excel, Ability to generate shipping bills ,
  • Get freight quotes
  • Ability to lift up to 50Ibs
  • Ability to read and write English
  • High school diploma or higher (equivalent work experience is acceptable)
  • Driving G License preferred

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments
  • Schedule, track and verify shipments as required
  • Experience or exposure to production / mechanic background
