About the logistics team
Bi-Mart's distribution center, truck shop, and logistics department are located in Eugene, Oregon and provide service to 85 stores located throughout Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Bi-Mart's fleet of trucks are maintained by our knowledgeable on-staff mechanics and are driven by on-staff drivers with long standing safety records.
Every distribution center, truck shop, and traffic employee is united in a common goal: the movement of merchandise from our distribution center to the stores in an efficient and safe manner. By utilizing logistics and an automated replenishing system, as well as hard work and dedication, these employees meet the needs of the stores and, ultimately, our customers every day.
About the Position
This position works under the direction of the truck shop supervisor and mechanics in truck, trailer, and dolly preventative maintenance. In addition to working directly on our equipment, this position will run for parts, move equipment in the yard for washer, clean the shop, empty garbage, steam clean equipment, and assist in any task as directed.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Experience:
2 years experience in basic knowledge of automotive and truck electrical systems, air brakes and welding required. Formal training in an accredited school and/or experience in an associated trade will be considered for all or part of experience.
Schedule:
As an employee-owned company, the Bi-Mart truck shop is open 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday
Hours may vary depending on workload and assignment
