Position: Software Engineer

Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid 2 days from home)

Full Time

Client will be maintaining and improving on our customer's current system and providing services and expertise to modernize using the latest cloud technologies.

The Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) will facilitate the transition and retirement of duplicative and legacy data services and provide an automated, modernized, enterprise data platform within a secure environment. EDP will enable our customer to expose its data to a wider audience through a zero-trust based, data centric architecture and a robust data governance policy/implementation approach, freeing data from data silos and allowing more users to gain valuable insights from customer data assets.

For this program we need a Software Engineer who will:

• Design new interfaces.
• Perform software and script development and integration.
• Support the Scrum Master in planning and estimating SW tasks.
• Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components
• Engineers cloud configuration.
• Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
• Supports system architecture and system design documentation.
• Supports system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree + 12 years or Master Degree + 10 years’ experience or 16 years of experience
• Experience as a Web Developer
• Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX), HTM, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript

Desired:

• Knowledge and Experience with Zero Trust
• Experience with Multi-Cloud adaptive solutions

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Security clearance:

• Top Secret (Required)
