As a consultant-level software developer in the Claims IT organization, you’ll contribute to highly available and scalable solutions that are built on cutting-edge cloud architecture. Our organization is focused on using new technologies, modern CICD practices, and the right tools to enhance our ability to deliver value to our customers. You’ll work with matured software development Agile methodologies in a fully adopted Scrum organization. In this role, you’ll build strong ties to the business with strategic and project mentorship based on business needs and aspirations. Knowledge of Claims and Commercial Lines business areas is a plus. You should understand the support and operational aspects of the software platform, along with analysis and problem investigation skills. This is a remote position for US-based work only.

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of eight years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications
• In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of eight years related work experience
• In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of ten years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications

Preferred Skills

• AWS
• C#/.NET, Kafka, API development
• Event driven architecture

Compensation

• $136,400-$174,000/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
