As a Software Engineer, you’re primarily a fullstack developer. You will partner with the business and technical staff to deliver solutions and improve functionality to facilitate business opportunities using the Agile software development methodology.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Apply software engineering skills in full stack Microsoft .NET / C# technical stack environment
- Actively develop in COBOL, including integration with purchased and custom applications
- Provide support and maintenance for existing applications
- Participate in activities related to Agile software development methodologies
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders from the business, working closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to deliver value against roadmap
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
ROLE SPECIFICS
- Some nights and weekends with on call availability to support business needs
- Occasional overnight travel required. Must have ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train for customer/vendor calls, training, or meetings.

Qualifications:
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable technical abilities with application development, configuration, implementation, and support
- Experience within an Agile development environment
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- Experience with application systems involved in the support of ecommerce, food distribution, or transportation
- 2+ years of proven development software experience, including experience with one or more: Microsoft .NET / C#, .NET Core Framework/ Core 5, IBM Series: COBOL, HTML, JavaScript
- Experience with DevOps practices
- Experience with Azure, Git, SQL, and/or DB2
- Experience with Jira
