Lockheed Martin Space in Cape Canaveral, FL is seeking a Summer 2023 Software Engineer Intern. In this role, you will support SW Engineering projects for the Electrical Ground Support Equipment Team.
Support sustainment and refresh activities and gain basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Python, C++, or Java. Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian toolsets. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require obtaining a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Actively enrolled in a Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Math or other related bachelors degree program from an accredited college/university.

Experience with Jira, Bugzilla, or other issue tracking system.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
