About This Job:

The Information Technology Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on IT experience and learn about the various aspects of those functions at arrivia with our 12-week paid internship program. Our internships provide real-world learning opportunities in a fun environment to help build future careers. The IT Intern will work with a variety of different members of the team to acquire a broad knowledge of IT as a whole.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Utilize a variety of software languages
• Transform large amounts of data
• Work side-by-side with other technology professionals that are designing, coding, and testing applications
• Assist in problem solving and researching
• Completes all other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Candidates pursuing a graduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus on Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Passion for technology and software
• Analytical problem solving, troubleshooting skills, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience managing data
• Understanding of web applications such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C# and Java
• Basic knowledge of database structure, data retrieval/manipulation, and analysis technology stack and language such as SQL, Python and BI tools.
