Job Description

Scope of Position & Technical Competency -:

  • Responsible for facilitating Intensive Outpatient group therapy sessions, family support adjunctive services, and consistently offer 6-8 Level of Care Assessments per week as determined by program needs, and according to program standards.
  • Maintain one aftercare Outpatient therapy group for clients stepping down to lower levels of care, according to program needs.
  • Prepares materials for facilitating sessions and or groups.
  • Maintains client files according to program standards.
  • Initiates and develops treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues, and other staff, according to program timelines.
  • Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and family members.
  • Maintains professional interpersonal communication with clients, referral sources, and company representatives.
  • Manages client files by having appropriate documents within the allowable time frames.
  • Attends meetings regarding client’s progress.
  • Conducts insurance reviews including documentation.
  • Collects client co-pays.
  • Scheduled for 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, and maintain a minimum number of completed session visits per week, in accordance with the specified productivity model.
  • Attends training, staff meetings, and supervision as needed and according to program standards.
  • Maintains a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.
  • Maintains ethical boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to support another programming in the office as needed and as appropriate.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary.
