Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Seasonal Help - In Vitro for our Discovery site located in Worcester, MA.


This position is an entry level position for pre-4 year college graduates. This position is part-time, either being of a fixed duration (e.g. summer), part-time on a weekly basis or a combination thereof. This position will be focused upon supporting the operation of the laboratory in a variety of roles, working in close cooperation with and under the guidance of more senior staff members in a fast-paced environment where a commitment to teamwork, quality data and speed is essential.


Job Qualifications


The following are minimum requirements related to the Seasonal Help - In Vitro position.


  • Education: High school diploma or General Equivalent Degree (G.E.D.). Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience: None.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Certification/Licensure: None.
  • Other: Ability to handle common laboratory species. Effective communication and listening skills in a teamwork environment. Excellent organization skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to develop competencies in MS Word, MS Excel, and other data collection systems.

The pay for this position is $17.00. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
