Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Managing high volume of Supply Chain Data
  • Shortage mitigation
  • Constraint management
  • Troubleshooting
  • Leads the development and implementation of tools, process, and procedures
  • Develops solutions to complex problems with solutions that are consistent with organization objectives
  • Performs analysis on requirements and supplier schedules to accommodate numerous customer requirements
  • Partners with numerous ancillary functions to ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Serves as a primary focal and external spokesperson for the team on major matters pertaining to the performance and delivery of material and will be required to compile and present performance data to various levels of management
  • Assists in identification and resolution of supply chain management constraints, discrepancies, and risks that impact on-time delivery and revenue capture
  • Assists in monitoring performance metrics, perform trend analysis and take mitigating action to meet performance objectives.
  • Manages multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure strong financial performance and on-time delivery of spares contracts.
  • Works with systems and tools including SQL Developer/Oracle Toad, ARES, BESSY, FDR, SCARS, SMPP, NWP/EDP, GOLD UNIFACE/GOLDESP, STAR, and Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access.
  • Writes SQL Queries
  • Works with Oracle Databases
  • Works with GOLDESP/Gold Uniface and Integrated Systems with Gold (i.e. ARES, BESSY, FDR, etc)
  • Manages/maintains SharePoints and Share-Drives
  • Understands the importance and rules/requirements for SOX (Sarbanes–Oxley) and MMAS (Material Management and Accounting System) Compliance
  • Defines requirements and develops training for Gold User Community

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • More than 3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Access application using formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets, Access Reports and Data Pulls, training documentation
  • More than 3 years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
  • More than 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with GoldESP/Gold Uniface

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management).
  • More than 3 years of experience with Supply Chain practices and processes.

Typical Education/Experience:

typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $74,800 - $117,300
