Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Systems Engineering Manager, you will:
- Manage teams of engineers with various disciplines (electrical, mechanical, software, etc.)
- Assist in preparation, coordination, and execution of program tasks, schedules, and budgets
- Facilitate collaboration between multiple engineering teams and programs
- Be responsible for leading system and subsystem design processes across several technical domains
- Participate in design development ranging from top-level [system, conceptual functionality] through component level requirements, fabrication, assembly, and testing
- Contribute to drafting and submission of technical proposals, white papers, program documentation
Qualifications:
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience Required:
- BS with 12-15 years
- MS with 10-13 years
- PhD with 10+ years
- U.S. citizenship
- Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain)
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Engineering background; familiar with designs and concepts across multiple engineering disciplines
- Strong managerial/leadership qualities; ability to delegate tasks and oversee/enforce execution
- Experience with managing program finances, budgets, schedules, contract details
- Proficiency in technical writing
