Analyst primary responsibilities will be to support Epic clinical applications – Ambulatory, ClinDoc, Orders. Duties include development, testing, validation, and maintenance of the epic applications. Complete testing and workflow validation of assigned applications and modifications before implementation into all environments. Executes on assigned tasks related to enhancement requests, projects, implementations and upgrades.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Customer support; partner and meet with our customers regularly to enhance our services
  • Meet service level agreements for break/fix and service requests
  • Assure patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality as appropriate or required to meet HIPAA standards
  • Develop innovative and efficient workflows within the technology our customers use
  • Manage small department projects and participate in large IT projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Epic certification in Ambulatory, ClinDoc or Orders. Additional certification, proficiency or experience in remaining applications.
  • 2+ years working in a similar type analyst role
  • Experience working with either internal or external stakeholders/customers
  • Sound Knowledge of Epic Software as well as other information systems, clinical software, and computer applications used in a health care setting
  • Ability to participate in on-call after hours rotation on rotation basis
  • Ability to participate in projects and upgrades requiring after hours availability on an ad hoc basis


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in a healthcare IT related field
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT industry
  • Experience navigating and troubleshooting issues within Epiccare Ambulatory, Link, CareEverywhere, Haiku, Canto, Orders, and ClinDoc
  • Proven detail-oriented, with proven organizational skills and the ability to convey technical information and instructions to all levels of clinical application users in a specific, clear, and concise manner
