Description:This position provides repair dispositions and fabrication requirements for discrepant aircraft conditions discovered while performing aircraft maintenance, modification, repair, and overhaul. These discrepancies are normally outside the scope of contracted work and are considered Over & Above (O&A). O&A planners use engineering source documents to provide technical direction and references for technicians to execute necessary repairs. The O&A planner will also provide estimated labor budgets and required materials to perform repairs. Negotiations may be required when repair requirements are challenged by customers. O&A planners are expected to conduct spot checks of work documents with Operations' personnel for improvement opportunities. The O&A planner will be expected to execute liaison planner tasks to resolve planning document issues, provide reports, and process planning changes to support hangar floor and flight line operations. This position will be the primary planner to process F16 ejection seat and canopy discrepancies.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years F16 ACESII ejection seat and canopy removal, installation, maintenance and inspection
- Experience reading/interpreting engineering documents and drawings
- Experience sequencing/planning maintenance tasks
- Experience working in a team environment
- Effective communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience working C130 aircraft
- Experience working Martin/Baker ejection seats
- Experience writing aircraft work documents
- SAP and/or Solumina experience
- Experience using military technical orders
- Experience interpreting contractual documents
- Proficient using MS Office Suite

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
