Description

The Patient Transportation Coordinator coordinates the movement of patients within and outside of the hospital. The Patient Transportation Coordinator has the primary responsibility of reviewing and coordinating non-emergent medical transportation requests for patients leaving the hospital and reviewing and coordinating patient transport within the hospital.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent educ/experience.
• 2 years in an acute care transport lead position or 2 years in acute care resource coordinator position.
• 2 years of Hospital Healthcare experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree In a healthcare field.
• Transport Lead.
• Resource Coordinator.
