The successful candidate will play an integral role in developing a data science and analytics practice within our organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role
• Develops data-driven solutions to unusually complex business challenges
• Utilizes advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict and make discoveries in complex data and deliver recommendations for business and analytic decisions
• Uses predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes
• Works with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
• Contribute to technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members
• Designs, researches and develops highly advanced processes, which may result in new product/business opportunities for the company

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Data Science or other IT related field or equivalent years of experience
• 8+ years of experience in Data Science or Data Analysis
• Experience leading data science and data analytics projects and teams
• Experience building data and machine learning models in Python
• Experience with a combination of Business Intelligence (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker), SQL, Python, and/or R
• Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Cloud certifications
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional
• Programming experience in Java, C#, or JavaScript

The likely salary range for this position is $116,000 - $174,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
