User Studies Research Engineer will work cross-functionally with various teams to plan and execute study protocols, analyze metrics, assist in study setup, administer surveys, and collect quantitative and qualitative data. This individual will be an integral player in defining how to provide the best participant experience across our studies. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Develop correspondence, recruit and schedule study participants - Identify inefficiencies and streamline project-related databases and processes - Own space utilization and coordinate study environment use, setup, and maintenance - Manage and maintain study documents and electronic data - Use and maintain hardware prototypes - Facilitate one-on-one or large-group sessions individually and as a team. - Able to produce meaningful visualizations and summaries of the data, and effectively present results to different audiences and across multiple media formats - Organized, highly attentive to detail, and manages time well SKILLS INCLUDE: - Optimization of processes (throughput analysis) - Human research - Production lifecycle - Troubleshooting unique HW - Project management - Technical communication - Understanding how good quality data is created - Observational human factor skills

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in behavioral sciences or customer-facing professions.

• 2 years experience with human subjects research, ux research/design, human factors or biomechanics.

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $104,000 and $190,000 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
