In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to be cross trained in all positions of the of ADL/BDL/CDL, as such, responsible for filling in as needed in any position.

YOUR ROLE:

- Safe work habits
- Lock-Out Tag-Out
- 5S / Good housekeeping of the area
- Ability/Willingness to obtain forklift operator license
- Perform or learn all jobs on the back end of the ADL/BDL/CDL, Foam Press, and DMC
- Complete daily documentation
- Ability to read a tape measure, other measuring devices and learn E21
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Set up and make adjustments to the equipment during production
- Make modifications to the equipment during production
- Must follow operational, quality and safety guidelines
- Mentor, initiate and measure OJT for training new associates in your assigned area per instruction of Group Leaders and Supervisor
- Work with Group Leaders & Quality personnel to resolve quality issues with corrective actions
- Support identifying production process, personnel & equipment issues in area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Ability to obtain Forklift License
- Ability to be certified in all LOTO procedures for respective area
- Ability to be certified in all jobs of respective area
- Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations
- Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Previous production experience

- NON- PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate works around mechanical hazards, noise and or vibration daily. Extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity and being outdoors.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Ability to run respective inventory system (Great Plains, E21, MES etc.).
- LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to complete daily Pre-Use Inspection Sheets.
