VALVE TECHNICIAN & ESTIMATOR

Summit Valve Solutions seeks an experienced Valve Technician and Estimator.

Responsibilities

Technician

• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly, repair and testing of valves including control, block, gate, pressure relief, pinch and butterfly valves.
• Perform diagnostic tests to troubleshoot and service equipment.
• Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all quality control and ASME National Board standards that apply to the job.
• Complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
• Knowledge of Rosemont, Magnetrol, ABB and other control instrumentation
• Travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.
• Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and other safety regulations.

Estimator

• Estimation of industrial valve repair, shutdown management, and other instrumentation, actuator, and calibration services.
• Review Request for Bid/Quote (RFQ) from customers.
• Track all outstanding RFQs by job status
• Obtain vendor bids to fulfill RFQ within established profitability parameters
• Build vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and payment terms
• Approve and issue purchase orders
• Track inventory, work in process, fixed assets and shop supplies
• Manage compliance requirements of customers in BROWZ and Avetta

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
