Job Description: Job Summary
Provides the Leadership, direction, innovation, and management of the Inflight Department, including Customer handling activities of Flight Attendants, and onboard experience enhancements. Supervises Inflight Directors, and all line and staff activities of the Department.

Responsibilities
Provide the overall Leadership and direction of the Inflight Department
Monitor and evaluate Inflight on-time performance through daily review and weekly attendance of operations committee meetings
Negotiate and amend agreements between Company and union designated Employees covered by contractual agreement; represents the Company second step through arbitration
Responsible for compliance with all Safety regulations maintaining communication with the FAA
Administer budgets, forecasts, plans, reports, and evaluations
Represent the Company at major industry, community, and government functions
Provide oversight of Inflight Operations portfolio projects and initiatives
Partner with other operational Departments to drive Inflight Operations cross functional change management activities needed to successfully deliver continuous business improvement
Maintain positive relationships with all internal and external Customers to ensure that all enterprise level activities are adequately presented and are performed in a collaborative manner
Leverage front-line feedback via various channels to ensure the collective voice of the workgroup is continually heard and considered in the continuous improvement process
Serve as the face of the Inflight Operations brand, both internally and externally, demonstrating a high level of comfort with public speaking, engaging with Frontline Employees, and fostering connection across the workgroup
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Knowledge of strategic and financial analysis
Ability to assume a high level of responsibility and to provide direction in a Team-oriented environment
Ability to properly manage highly sensitive and confidential information
Ability to partner effectively and maintain healthy working relationships with Labor Unions, operational and commercial leadership (at all levels), and external partners where applicable
Ability to contend with the range and complexity of large Departmental/business problems
Ability to plan and drive complex projects and moderately complex programs to completion
Ability to understand corporate financial analysis and financial statements
Ability to drive work effectively and manage managers and directors to develop and implement Departmental and Company plans

Ability to possess strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate complex issues in a structured and concise manner
Ability to cast vision in a clear and concise manner, define expectations at varying levels of Leadership, and encourage open dialogue and healthy debate amongst Teams
Ability to design and conduct analyses, as well as synthesize recommendations and present to all levels to gain consensus

Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Demonstrated experience leading multiple teams or functions through subordinate leaders
Advanced level Business Acumen in functional area with understanding of broad business impacts
