The Opportunity:

The Editor, Video Content Production is responsible for supporting Sephora's day-to-day video content needs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ability to support the Editing team with all content projects – including editing long and short-form videos and voice-over
• Identify and resolve post problems with ingenuity and a contagious "can-do" attitude
• Day-to-day support & coordination of multiple ongoing content programs
• Works with Senior Manager, Post Producers, Marketing, and Producers to ensure creative vision is met
• Creative ability to source appropriate music
• Work with Producers to implement creative and marketing feedback
• Manage day-to-day post timeline with Producers and Post Producer
• Work closely with Producers for ongoing content programs and campaigns
• Management of projects through tools such as Box, Workfront, Frameio, and Monday

Position Requirements:

• College degree; BA or BFA preferred
• 6 + years of Editing experience
• Expert understanding of developing and editing video content for social media platforms
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment while following processes and meeting very tight deadlines
• Strong knowledge of aspect ratios
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of the post-production process
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities
• Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines
• Self-motivated
• Should be comfortable working under pressure in a fluid environment where new projects pop up on a daily basis
• Thrives in an intensive, multi-tasking, and hands-on environment
• Ability to adhere to notes and see the projects through to the end
• Should be a go-getter who can take initiative on their own
• Background in fashion and or beauty
• Detail oriented

The annual base salary range for this position is $118,000.00 - $128,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
