Responsibilities

Remove extraneous materials (i.e. strings, stones, skins, etc.) from beans
traveling on sorting belt and periodically control operating functions on sorting belt.
Remove with hands extraneous material from beans on sorting belt and place in
designated waste bucket.
Periodically check shaker screens and TME for stones to ensure effective operation.

Feed lids into capper machine to keep line running smoothly.

Retrieve sleeve of lids and continuously place on track to keep full.
Observe incoming cans and lids for conformance and report when there are non-
conformances.
Observe cans are filled properly. Reports non-conformances and stops capper if
necessary.
Greases capper and other machinery daily.
Changes screens and shakers for the day’s run.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
