Position: a full-time or part-time Limited x-ray tech with medical assistant certification.

Job Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will perform Medical Assistant front and back office duties within the scope of practice, with the ability to multi-task while maintaining efficiency.
• Have comfort in seeing multiple patients a day, rooming patients. Answering calls and creating patient charts, verifying insurance, and collecting co-pays/other fees.
• Ability to perform limited x-ray procedures to include chest, torso, and extremities with digital radiography.
• Maintaining/managing x-ray equipment/x-ray room.
• Must be able to multi-task and work independently.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• California Limited X-ray Certification Graduate
• Medical Assistant graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current CPR certificate
• Working knowledge of Health Insurance: HMO, PPO, Medicare and Medicaid

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
