Tracy Ward

Tracy Ward has over 30 years of unlocking value through strategic investments in the community/economic development, media and natural resource arenas. Tracy established Bluebird Enterprises LLC in 2022 to provide business and project development services to start-ups.Prior to Bluebird Enterprises, Tracy served as the founding executive director of the Easton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC), which was established to develop and execute a broad range of infrastructure programs to drive economic vitality in the Town of Easton, MD.

Some of the accomplishments under her guidance include adopting a main street to waterfront redevelopment master plan that has attracted public and private investment to the town. She also established Chesapeake Harvest, a food safety education program that provides essential services to small and medium farmers.

Before moving to the Eastern Shore, Tracy published Urbanite, an award-winning magazine, and implemented and supported community development initiatives in the Baltimore region through her work with the Belair-Edison Housing Service, Downtown Partnership and Fannie Mae. She currently serves on the board of Blue Oyster Environmental, an oyster aquaculture company based in Cambridge, Maryland. Tracy lives in Royal Oak, Maryland is an avid gardener, enjoys sailing and traveling.
