Job Description
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Prepare, examine & submit accounting records, financial statements, taxes and other financial reports.
- Ensure federal and state required reports are prepared and filed in a timely manner.
- Work with external accountant with preparation and filling of year end financials.
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.
- Prepare monthly cash flow statements.
- Ensure A/R & A/P are entered and up to date.
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.
- Create and manage purchase orders and work with vendors to ensure timely delivery within budget.
- Inventory management including monthly cycle counting of inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
- Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
- Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
- Foundational knowledge in month end closings
- General ledger experience
- Netsuite experience desired
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
- Must be proficient and able to complete various financial reporting tasks
- Current and relevant ERP system experience
Our work environment includes:
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO BOWIE, TX 2-3 TIMES PER WEEK.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
