Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable Clerkwill assist the Online Platform Manager with Great Hearts online platform and duties. This will include all accounts, products, and reports that are located within the Great Hearts online store/eCommerce system. This includes day-to-day operations creating, posting, displaying of the products, making sure that all links are accurately working, updating the database, and providing exceptional customer service with the oversite from the Online Platform Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Support Great Hearts academies use of a web-based store front system
· Create and post products within online store system for multiple departments within the network
· Create and provide reporting for multiple departments within the network
· Troubleshoot online product issues or user challenges
· Proactively identify, help resolve, and communicate any internal control issues
· Research, track, and update store front system
· Data entry
· Submit accurate daily timesheet
· Respond to various types of communication in a timely and professional manner
· Submit Detailed Weekly Status Report
· Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications, Competencies, and Strengths
The Accounts Receivable Clerk position offers an exceptional opportunity to develop professionally and contribute meaningfully to a unique nonprofit organization which is changing K-12 education in this country. While experience in education is not a requirement, Great Hearts is seeking people who are passionate and committed to K-12 education reform. Similarly, experience working within a high growth, geographically dispersed, multi-unit operating environment is also a plus.
· Associate degree or actively working toward a degree in accounting, finance, business management or information technology.
· At least 1-2+ years of customer service.
· Superior written and verbal communication skills; oriented towards detail, thoroughness, and accuracy.
· Demonstrates an ability to think creatively, analytically, and take initiative.
· Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment with accuracy.
· Ability to develop positive and professional relationships with team members and other members of the Great Hearts organization.
· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
· Provide excellent customer service and always maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
· Basic software skills and experience.
· Commitment to the core purpose and values of Great Hearts.
· Internally motivated and takes joy in work well done.
· Communicate and work effectively with all departments.
· Set goals and provide regular performance feedback.
Additional Requirements
Type of fingerprint clearance: Must possess or obtain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card.
Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds.
