The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an
Administrative Assistant to join our mission in
Kings Bay, GA!
As a Missile Body Operations Administrative Assistant, the functions include:
- Monitor and report employee training status and enroll employees in classes.
- Maintain training plans/paths for various department positions.
- Maintain and control department training files.
- Monitor and report employee training status.
- Coordinate and schedule conferences and meetings including rooms, announcements, audio/video and other equipment and service such as VTC and NetMeeting arrangements as needed.
- Perform normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining alphabetical, numerical and/or subject files; receiving calls and making proper referrals; and picking up and distributing mail.
- Use personal computers and standard desktop software to compose reports, presentations, correspondence, and memorandums; reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepares expense reports.
- Maintain and control personal and proprietary data exercising sound judgment.
- Monitor office and first aid supplies and submits requests for replenishment.
- Provide back-up administrative support to Resident Director office as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Exercise appropriate interpersonal skills in interacting with employees and customers.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous administrative assistant experience.
- Interim Secret clearance is required prior to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. US citizenship required. Cannot be a dual citizen.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
