Description

SAIC is seeking a Airfield Analyst to Provide technical support to coordinate and monitor the resource execution of programs, policies impacting Army airfields and heliport (AAF/AHP) operations and management in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Job Duties:
  • Have an understanding of related Department of Defense (DOD) and Army regulations, policies and laws focusing on resource policies and capabilities.
  • Coordinate with appropriate HQDA elements, ACOM, ASCC, DRU, National Guard Bureau, U.S. Army Reserve, Joint Staff and DOD on the development of AAF/AHP resource requirements and execution.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, with appropriate organizations, to address AAF/AHP resources, prepare follow up documentation and track taskers/due outs for resolution.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Education:
  • Bachelors and six (6) years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

Required Skills:

  • HQDA or ACOM equivalent level of experience.
  • A working knowledge of the Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES)/Management Decision Package (MDEP) process for assisting in the development of AAF/AHP requirements.
  • Knowledge of Installation Status Reporting (ISR).
  • Knowledge of General Fund Enterprise Systems (GFEBS)
  • Have excellent communicative (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team in researching data, developing and integrating AAF/AHP requirements.
